What does Marari Network Solutions do?
As an IT Professional, my job encompasses many different roles relating to technology in business. Primarily, these roles are:

Researcher
Information Technology is an ever-changing environment. In business, the way technology is used - from basic office applications like business forms and financial information, to complex predictive models like weather forecasting, investment predictions, and medical research - is consistently being improved and updated. It's hard to stay on top of the technology cycle when it moves so fast. Through research, I help to understand the challenges your company has and begin to develop the foundation for your company's information technology plan.
Advisor
It's virtually impossible to offer good advice on business information technology unless there's been a substantial amount of research done, experience with the product that is being recommended, and a knowledge of obstacles to watch out for to make sure that the solution helps to move your business toward its larger technology goals. As an advisor, I help you design the structured, information technology plan that your company needs to move forward.
Implementer
By this point, we have:
- done some research - found out more about you and your company by asking several questions about the direction and use of technology in your business
- advised - helped you to develop a technology action plan through discussion of important criteria like data security, backup, anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware, licensing, and many other considerations
Now it's time to implement the solution. This is where the skills I have been honing for over 25 years come into play. As much as I would love to say that there have been 100% perfect, flawless implementations, there is no such thing. Somewhere during the process, some piece of hardware will fail or complain... some software will be incompatible... some patch will "break" something that was working... There are so many different things that can go wrong. Knowing what to expect, when to expect it and how to deal with it when it happens are only taught through experience.
Administrator
The ongoing preventative maintenance of your network is called pro-active administration. This is a continuation of the relationship we have established and the most rewarding aspect of our partnership. Through pro-active administration, your network is monitored for the "warning signs" that mean trouble is coming. It's more efficient to catch the problem early and correct it before it becomes a critical issue that affects many people and reduces your workforce productivity.
Trainer
Nobody knows everything about everything. Lots of people know something about something. My "something" is business information technology. I can help train your employees to use your company's information technology more safely and effectively. There is an immediate return on investment to your business in employee productivity and an increased measure in data security.
So what do I do? I partner with business to help them more effectively shape, plan, and use information technology in the workplace.
